Philip Ratcliff

Fairisle Consulting and Change

Overview

Look, listen and seek to understand.

In these three actions Philip finds both the starting point and the answers to any change a client wants to make, whether he is coaching them for strategy delivery and change leadership, or supporting them by managing a change initiative.

Philip is the senior consultant of Fairisle, a consultancy specialising in strategy execution, change management, and organisational development. Fairisle works with clients to bridge the gap between strategy and implementation, so they deliver real, meaningful benefits. Our approach is client-centred and inclusive.

Fairisle ensures a client’s strategy is clear, feasible and well understood so they can be sure they are on the right path to realising their ambitions. We use Agile methods to support client teams in planning and delivering the right changes and benefits at the right time. Problem solving and removing obstacles to progress, we address issues in strategy delivery, such as resistance to change, through our tried and tested techniques. We support teams by managing processes on the client’s behalf whilst they acquire sustainable skills to deliver benefits for the long term. Our design and facilitation of one-off workshops and workshop series help organisations acquire the skills necessary to successfully navigate change and strategy delivery.

Our clients find Philip to be an insightful and knowledgeable partner who challenges their perceptions on what is possible. He designs and facilitates engaging workshops to build collaboration and consensus; delivers clear and concise reports to give insight and understanding around challenges; and, provides effective support in the delivery of change to equip and enable clients to continue with the change themselves.

Philip is known for asking questions that cause clients to pause and consider their current position, and then to help them move forward.
