Overview

I am an award-winning public affairs, stakeholder engagement and communications consultant, with over 25 years’ experience.

I’m passionate about working with charities and NGOs to achieve their objectives through communications and campaigns that influence policy change and deliver real impact.

There are countless amazing organisations out there undertaking admirable work. But no amount of effort can push forward your aims if everything is falling on deaf ears.

We live in an intricately interconnected world, where cooperation, conversation and consensus is necessary because there is never a single ‘right’ answer to any question.

Whether it’s opening up a dialogue with local officials, building a coalition of like-minded organisations, meeting with media outlets, or lobbying your cause at the highest levels of government, I can help.


Clients

Over the past fifteen years, I have worked with over 20 clients across sustainable energy, social housing, animal welfare, aviation, hospitality, utilities and telecommunications.

I have planned and delivered communications strategies and transformational public affairs and engagement campaigns in multiple countries in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.


Qualifications

I have a BA (Hons) in Economics and Law from Middlesex University and a CIM Diploma in Marketing from Newcastle University.

I’m a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).


Experience

Before becoming a stakeholder engagement and communications consultant I held a number of senior leadership roles including Chief Engagement Officer, Director of Communications and Director of External Affairs.

I also served as a Non-Executive Director (2012 - 2014) for StreetDoctors, a youth-focused charity which changes lives by giving young people at risk of violence the skills and confidence to deliver lifesaving first aid.
