Experience

Jason has been working in the charity sector since 2010, starting at Motivation Charitable Trust with the mandate to develop new sustainable income streams that would help the charity in its mission but also generate vital unrestricted income.

In 2016, Jason took over the running of the South West International Development Network, structuring it as a registered charity to support hundreds of other organisations delivering the UN Sustainable Development Goals and at the same time started a new venture to help charities benefit from the Google Ad Grants programme and improve their digital marketing skills.

In 2023, Smart Philanthropy was born to support people who are new to philanthropy and really want someone to talk to about their ambitions, but also need someone they can work with to put their dreams into action and get things done.
