Overview

Cheryl-lya has been running Soul’s Compass Coaching and Consulting for over ten years. Providing innovative, creative project management solutions to grass roots charities, community micro-businesses, and women-owned businesses Soul's Compass manage and support various projects within the Heritage, Community, NHS, Hospice and Disability care, Higher Education and Social Housing as well as Health and Wellbeing fields. In addition to receiving a Contribution to Community Award, Cheryl-lya has been nominated for several Leadership and Volunteer Management awards within the VCS Sector. The vision for Soul’s Compass is to elevate clients and communities to ‘thrival’.


Clients

Successes have included getting the volunteer arm of a national pilot across Hospice care to number one in the UK. Health sector success includes providing people solutions saving contracts around £400k per annum. As a coach and mentor she has supported over 250 community-based micro-businesses on a one-to-one basis, supports Women in Enterprise Networking events and is a volunteer herself.


Qualifications

With an MA (Personnel & Development), BA (Industrial Psychology) and HND Human Resources Management Cheryl-lya also holds Award in Education and Training; Royal Society of Public Health Level 3 certified Health Champion; CMP Certified Copywriter and Social Media Strategist and is an NLP Practitioner.


Experience

Cheryl-lya works with a number of grass roots charities including CCAT, Enfield Wellbeing Network, and a consortia of health providers. Previously worked with NHS hospitals, Social Housing groups, Hospice, Disability and VCS organisations
