Sophie Brewer
With an operations management background, I have supported strategic operational change and brought operational stability to both corporate and charity sectors. I have managed administrative, financial, facilities and operations teams, been responsible for internal HR processes and policies and overseen both restricted budgets for charities and corporate finances for companies with a turnover of up to £2million.
I am driven by making efficiency savings and finding innovative solutions to keep workplaces at the forefront of their industry. I will always strive to find the best and most cost-effective solution for your business; whether it’s moving you from a spreadsheet to cloud based accounting system, implementing HR or CRM systems, updating policies & risk assessments or supporting your board through governance and compliance questions. I am keen to get you set up on the right systems and give you the tools to stay compliant and efficient going forward.

Clients
I tend to work with charities with up to 20 members of staff where the growth has exceeded the initial systems in place. But I am happy to work with any size client and in any background as I specialise in operations.
Experience
I have worked with over 20 charities from one off projects implementing finance and HR systems to longer term interim COO positions where I have overhauled internal systems and processes and created more sustainable back-office solutions for the charity to move forward.
I have also supported board with governance and compliance and provide a ‘sounding-board’ service for CEOs who need to talk through options for the best way forward.
The most common way to start working with me is through my Efficiency Audit where I review existing systems and processes and produce a report that advises what is working well and what the gaps are where we can implement more sustainable solutions.
