Experience

Strategic research, advisory and policy specialist with over 20 years of experience leading multidisciplinary projects and programmes, process, impact and policy evaluations, mixed methods research studies and evidence synthesis across charities, consultancies, governments and international organisations in the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. My social and public policy research work aligns closely with HM Treasury Green Book and Magenta Book principles, including developing robust theories of change, business cases, assessing social value, and generating evidence to inform appraisal, policy and programme design and value for money judgements.

Project management and research portfolio centres on vulnerable populations, women, children and youth, inequality and systems level disadvantage. Experienced in leading multi agency and cross sector programmes, conducting implementation focused studies, and generating practice relevant evidence that informs policy, programme design and learning.

Recognised for developing collaborative partnerships, directing high profile evaluations, and producing influential evidence syntheses that shape policy debates and strengthen programme implementation.

Skilled in managing donor funded research portfolios, supervising multidisciplinary teams and building partnerships that bridge academic, practitioner and policy communities, and support organisational sustainability.

Committed to inclusive, participatory and co produced research approaches that elevate lived experience and enhance epistemic justice. Passionate about advancing methodological innovation and contributing to improved practice and systems change through effective programming, robust, policy relevant research and evaluation studies.
