Emma Woods
Emma is a former mainstream economist turned renegade. After 13 years as a successful Government Economist in the UK public sector, she set up Flourish Economics in 2023 offering alternative economics education; exploratory research and analysis, and heart-led facilitation.
She has significant understanding and knowledge of alternative economic models, systems change and the interconnectivity of the polycrisis we find ourselves facing. This is complemented by her formal training and experience of mainstream economics covering cost benefit analysis; research and analysis; monitoring and evaluation; strategy and evidence based policy making.
