Being Luminary

With over two decades in education and the non-profit sector, I bring lived experience and leadership expertise to help organisations reimagine how equity and inclusion can shape their culture and impact. As an author, former Deputy CEO of a multi-academy trust and now founder of Being Luminary, my work combines strategy with humanity, supporting leaders to move beyond compliance and into courageous, values-led action.

I specialise in helping charities and non-profits develop equity-informed governance, strengthen organisational strategy, and build inclusive cultures where every voice matters. Whether guiding boards through difficult conversations on race, gender and power, designing strategic roadmaps for growth, or helping teams align their practices with their mission, my approach is rooted in four dimensions of leadership: intellectual, emotional, cultural and spiritual intelligence.

My consultancy spans a range of sectors, and I’ve worked with leaders of teams of five to 1000, empowering them to embed equity into every layer of their work and create organisations that are a safe harbour.

At Being Luminary, we hold space for leaders to pause, reflect and imagine what’s possible when equity is no longer an add-on but the foundation of organisational life.
