Amy Roch
Supporting charities to be more sustainable, impactful and equitable.
I am an experienced charity sector consultant with over 17 years-experience working in and with specialist frontline services. Working mostly within the VAWG, LGBTQ and youth sectors including roles at Rape Crisis, Women’s Aid and Galop, I am passionate about ensuring that the specialist by-and-for sector is strong and that organisations have the tools they need to support their communities.
I really understand how frontline services work – with experience delivering support as well as leading and developing support services, including therapeutic, advocacy and online support. I have worked with organisations across the UK to improve their service delivery, measure their impact, and create more inclusive and equitable spaces for both service users and staff.
I work with organisations to grow, stabilise and develop. My development support includes designing strategic plans and fundraising strategies, monitoring and evaluation processes, providing governance support, and developing inclusive and equitable policy and practice.

Clients
I work with charity leaders and teams who care deeply about what they do – from small ‘by and for’ organisations to large national charities. Many come to me when they want to strengthen their strategy, leadership or governance, or when they’re navigating a period of change and need a trusted, external perspective.
Current and recent clients include: Panahghar, Bridge the Gap Partnership, Rape Crisis Scotland, Proud 2 b Parents, Suffolk Rape Crisis, University of Glasgow, Lloyds Bank Foundation, Expert Link, Survivors Together, Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre.
I am also a Lloyds Bank Foundation Development Partner, supporting small charities funded through the Foundation to strengthen and grow.

Experience
Before becoming a consultant, I spent years in senior leadership roles, including CEO and interim CEO roles, where I learned first-hand the realities of running a charity. Since then, I’ve supported organisations to design inclusive strategies, review governance, develop fundraising and M&E frameworks, and lead through transitions. I specialise in gender-based violence, LGBTQ+ inclusion and systems change, and I’m driven by helping values-led organisations do their best, most impactful work.
