Embrace Finance

Overview

Liz is the founding Director of Embrace Finance, a non-profit social enterprise working with charitable foundations, registered charities, and social enterprises. Drawing on over 20 years’ experience, Liz specialises in building the financial confidence and financial resilience of smaller organisations with an income of up to £1m.

Liz has worked at senior leadership level with a range of organisations including grant-makers, infrastructure bodies and fundraising charities.

Liz is a certified bookkeeper and Member in Practice of the International Association of Bookkeepers. Liz holds an MSc in Charity Accounting and Financial Management, an ICSA PG Certificate in Charity Management and an ILM 7 award in Strategic Leadership and Management.

Liz is Treasurer of the Association of Chairs and a Trustee of Global Dialogue, a civil rights grant maker.

Liz provides finance training, mentoring and consultancy services. Liz is also finance lead for a number of small charities.


Clients

Liz is trainer for the Small Charities Coalition and School of Social Entrepreneurs, and mentor for Lloyds Bank Foundation of England and Wales as an Enhance consultant. Liz’s consultancy clients include a range of grant-making and fundraising charities.
