Overview

Emma established Beyond Profit in 2017 having taken the leap into self-employment. She has worked in the charity sector for over 15 years managing multidisciplinary teams ranging from finance to marketing. She supports small and medium-sized charities with their finance and governance. With a proven track record in both these areas, she is passionate about sharing this with others.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and holds their Members in Practice Certificate. She also holds a certificate in Charity Law and Governance from the Institute of Governance and is an affiliate member of the Association of Charity Independent Examiners.

Emma sits on CIMA’s Research Advisory Panel, is a Trustee of Wood Street Mission and is Treasurer of both Bolton Cancer Voices and Howfen FC.

Emma takes a client-centric, solution-focused approach making use of her experience and clients love working with her.

Experience

Over 15 years experience of working in the charity sector, Emma has worked with a variety of clients from educational charities to those working with homeless youth.

She has managed multidisciplinary teams including finance, marketing, fundraising, HR and premises.

Her wide-ranging experience means she is able to bring a range of experience and knowledge to charities, connecting the dots and making a postive impact.
