Drew Lindon

Drew Lindon Consulting Ltd

Among other services, I deliver influencing strategies, dynamic campaigns to create change, coalition-building, management and coordination, public affairs engagement, high quality research and policy development. I’m passionate about making lasting, progressive social change happen, and supporting individuals and organisations to achieve that goal.

Since establishing my company in 2014, I have provided policy and campaigns consultancy to a wide range of charities including the MND Association, the JGA Group, Homeless Link, The CHEM Trust, The Miscarriage Association, Sands, The Lullaby Trust, The Stroke Association, The Richmond Group, The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, Living Streets, Women in Sport, The Migraine Trust, and others.

Among other relevant qualifications I hold, I have highlighted key examples below:

  • Campaigning and Communications: I have a Certificate of Professional Practice in Campaigning (Distinction) NCVO and Roehampton University), and a Foundation in Public Relations Award (Distinction awarded in March 2012, Chartered Institute of Public Relations). I have received training and had a range of experience in undertaking interviews for TV, radio, digital and print media
  • Data analysis and visualisation: I completed a comprehensive three-month data analytics course from General Assembly in 2016, including advanced use of Excel, SQL and Tableau for data analysis and visualisation
  • I have previously been a PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • First class degree Sociology BA (Hons)

I have worked in policy, campaigns or public affairs roles (including the last 6 years as a consultant) for over 15 years. My prior roles before I set up Drew Lindon Consulting Ltd were increasingly senior policy and campaigns roles for a range of high-profile charities including Prostate Cancer UK, Parkinson’s UK, million+, Homeless Link, and the Carers Trust.

Since starting my business in 2014, I have worked with over 30 clients. The vast majority have been within the voluntary sector working on projects as diverse as creating a organisation's first ever national campaign, developing a Code of Practice for the sector, building a new partnership strategy for a coalition of charities, undertaking detailed quantitative research into NHS waiting times for a public report, and leading a 3-year programme of public affairs engagement with an All Party Parliamentary Group as a key nexus for that activity.
