CforG members – we need you!

We don’t like to beg, but…

As a network run entirely by member volunteers and a part-time administrator, the Consultants for Good board is actively seeking more support from the wider membership to help keep us ticking over. We have a range of rewarding and valuable roles to fill, offering the chance to drive the organisation forward and ensure we stay relevant for our members.

In particular, we are looking for two new CforG board members. We’re especially keen for people to join our small team of Directors who are interested in:

• Supporting our admin guru Alison with Membership, ensuring we operate as efficiently as possible, also helping us to manage our data and make best use of the information we have available and
• Sharing the Communications & Marketing remit (social media post planning, commissioning and editing of CforG blogs, drafting of newsletter intros etc) alongside the word wizard Mairi Damer.

Over the last year or so we have introduced more efficient admin and finance systems, so the time committment really isn’t too demanding. You will be expected to offer a couple of hours a month, to include a monthly or bi-monthly board meeting.

Or, if you want a more practical volunteering opportunity – we’re also always on the lookout for anyone who would like to join our Events planning group.

Please do consider stepping up, this is a network which works best when we share the load, and our considerable collective skills.
