Annual Future Focus Seminar: How the future of the voluntary sector is shaped by fundraising

The character and regulation of fundraising is changing. Social investment, charity loans, impact reporting – just some of the things significantly transforming third sector organisations – as well as how these organisations are perceived.

How do we make sense of what’s happening and understand what it means for governance and management? What does it signify for consultants like us who support and advise Trustees, Managers and staff?

This seminar will give us the chance to speculate about the changes and examine them from different points of view. It will help us learn how to adapt our practice to continue to support third sector charities, associations and social enterprises.

Speakers include :

  • Virginia Anderson, Chair of the Institute of Fundraising and Head of Fundraising at Bobath Scotland
  • Lesley Macdonald, Head of Giving and Chair of the Scottish Funders’ Forum
  • contributions from fundraising savvy members of Consultants for Good Scotland and special guests.

Refreshments are provided. Join us afterwards for a networking lunch session from 1.00pm -2.00pm Please bring your own lunch.
